What is the Father sharing with you recently?

Introduction

Susan Santos only started painting in 2024. Although she always had a love for art and paintings, she did not consider herself very good at hand drawing. She is an architect and lives in Tennessee with her husband and two teenage kids. In our conversation she talks about her latest painting and her inspiration.

Question: Tell us about your recent painting Harvest Time?

Answer: The Father has placed a specific area of my City for me to be interceding. In prayer, I've been declaring the words of Isaiah 61.

"The same way the earth produces its crops and seeds spring up in a garden, so will the Lord YAHWEH cause righteousness and praise to blossom before all the nations."

Question: In reading and declaring, did the Father show you the image?

Answer: Not for this one. Sometimes as I am reading, I might think about the images that I am reading and sometimes I look for pictures that will help me understand or visualize what I am reading. So I started looking for pictures of harvest fields, gardens, and it was during that process that He started showing me what He wanted me to paint. Tender seeds sprouting, rain coming down, rows and rows of planted seeds. He also showed me from what perspective to paint. At first, I was going to focus on one tender sprout, He guided me to depict many rows, then the rain, the sun coming through...

Question: What has the Father been sharing as you pray for your City?

Answer: I have been praying specifically for revival, for salvation, for lives to be turned around, for youth to discover their identity in Jesus. While praying in this way, I been reading John, and the words of John 4:34-35 is another passage He has been speaking to me about.

"As you look around right now, wouldn't you say that in about four months it will be time to harvest? Well, I'm telling you to open your eyes and take a good look at what's right in front of you. These Samaritan fields are ripe. It's harvest time."

Question: Anything else He is sharing with you personally?

Answer: I recently stepped out in faith to start a nonprofit, and I have been praying for provision. And as I painted, the Father reminded me that in my obedience and in my planting of seeds in the Kingdom (time/finances), that no seed is forgotten by Him, and that a new season is coming. This piece is for me a reminder to be praising Him even before I see the fulfillment, for He is faithful.

Not too long after I painted this piece, our pastors shared the FRUIT Wave. For me was another confirmation of what He is sharing not only with me, but with His sons and daughters.
