Dancing with the King

I was preparing for the General Contractor's exam and was very overwhelmed by all the study material. The Lord called me to get my license and I am following his lead in obedience. In a field with not many women, I am aksing for His guidance and following His lead. I have also been reading Ephesians a lot this summer and taking in the revelation of who He has called each of us to be.

 

During worship service one morning before the week of the exam, He showed me this image. First, it was Him taking me higher into heavenly places, stars all around, and then He showed me in a red dress, representing the covering of His blood, and then I saw us dancing. It was a sweet and intimate moment in His presence. He was showing me that as He leads and I follow that there is great freedom, joy and authority.

 

Ephesians 2:5-6(TPT) says: "Even when we were dead and doomed in our many sins, He united us into the very life of Christ and saved us by his wonderful grace! He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with Him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ."

 

I pray this paiting is a reminder to you of your position in Christ and that as you let Him lead, there is great intimacy, joy and purpose in your walk with Him.
