Artist Bio

Art has been an intricate part of my life since I was a child as I enjoyed just sitting around and drawing what I saw before me, anything from nature to people to structures. Also, at a very young age, I was exposed to architectural plans as my grandfather took me along with him to his job sites. It became my pastime. I was intrigued by what I saw and wanted to learn more. I eventually attended a trade high school where I learned architectural and mechanical drawing. Alongside that, I continued to draw. I enjoyed pencil art, whether color or graphite. It wasn't until years later as an adult that I decided to experience using oil and acrylic painting, and it has been a game changer. I absolutely love painting. It has become more than just a pastime, it has become a passion for me.

In 2019, I began attending Redemption to the Nations Church in Chattanooga, TN. It was the first time I heard of the term prophetic art and the idea of being able to worship the Lord through the gift of art. I have been a part of the ministry now for about four years and look forward to being able to worship the Lord in this fashion for many more.

I view prophetic art as two fold. First and foremost, I believe it entails having an intimate relationship with God the Father, Jesus the Son and Holy Spirit. It is being able to hear His voice clearly, allowing Him to minister to us and show us what He has us to create for His glory. And secondly, it is being able to illustrate through art what He is showing us in order that the viewer is not only blessed, but impacted as the Lord ministers to them through the gift of prophetic art.
