Introduction to Tuscany Boldon
We’re excited to welcome Tuscany Boldon to the JV Studios Art family! Tuscany is a young artist with a powerful story, a deep love for Jesus, and a passion for creating art that carries meaning far beyond the canvas. We had a casual Q&A with her to learn more about her journey, her faith, and the heart behind her work.
JV Studios: Tell us a little about yourself and how your relationship with Jesus began.
Tuscany: My name is Tuscany, and I’m 18 years old. I’m originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, and I recently moved to Chattanooga to attend RSM—Redemption School of Ministry. Jesus saved me in the middle of my sophomore year of high school, and that completely changed my life. Before then, I was creative, but after I got saved, I realized I wanted to use the gift God gave me for Him.
JV Studios: When did you start painting, and where do you find inspiration for your pieces?
Tuscany: I started painting my freshman year of high school. At first, I was just painting, experimenting and learning. But after I got saved on January 8, 2023, everything shifted. That’s when I began painting prophetically. My inspiration comes from what God is showing me—visions, moments in prayer, or things He highlights in everyday life. Lately, I’ve been really inspired by His beauty in creation.
JV Studios: What does your painting process look like?
Tuscany: It usually starts with worship and prayer. I’ll spend time with the Father and as He speaks or shows me something He wants to share with me then I get inspiration to paint. I start with a sketch and then begin painting. I pray over every piece, and I anoint them with oil before they go into anyone’s home or business. I truly believe God has placed an anointing on each painting to change the atmosphere where they are displayed.
JV Studios: Can you walk us through a recent piece you created?
Tuscany: One of my most recent paintings is called The Beloved Kiss. It was inspired by the passage on Luke 7:38. It’s about intimacy with the Lord—how beautiful it is that we get to be close to Him. I want my paintings to reflect what He’s teaching me and what I’m learning in my own walk with Him.
Beyond the canvas, Tuscany’s mission is clear: to show the Heart of Jesus through her art. Her desire is to see captives set free, broken homes restored, and hearts softened by encountering true love—the love of Christ.
Looking ahead, Tuscany plans to pour what she earns from her art back into school events and future opportunities, with a dream of opening her own art gallery in New York City one day. Above all else, she wants the will of God to be done in her artistic life.
We’re honored to represent Tuscany at JV Studios Art and can’t wait to see how God continues to move through her work. Be sure to keep an eye out for her pieces—you might just feel the atmosphere shift.
